As the digestive system becomes less efficient with age and fewer nutrients are assimilated from the same meals, the body’s capacity to generate light decreases with age. Many people not only supply their bodies with too little light through their lifestyle, but also experience a reduced conversion of these three energies into Shen as they get older.
Most practices followed by biohackers enhance SHEN energy, such as a good night of sleep, meditation, staying in a hot sauna until the heart pumps, cold showers, sports, and supplementation, but there are a few other sources like practicing Qigong or Tai Chi.

As a biohacker I focus on generating Yin with meditation and sleeping, Yang with hitting the gym, staying in a 90-degree sauna at least 15 minutes, and jogging, and Qi energy by using an orgone generator, spending time in nature, walking barefoot, and eating raw fruits and vegetables. But also I consume supplements for mitochondria and cellular health.
It is not only about storing energy but also about caring for all the living beings inside us.
As you have a dog that from time to time needs to walk outdoors and play with other dogs, inside you have mitochondria which need to pump up from time to time for proliferation and better performance, and jogging is the way I make them stay active, healthy, and happy :)
