Dubai has made incredible strides in positioning itself as a global hub for tourism, luxury, and wellness. Yet, one major contradiction remains: while promoting wellness, it bans access to one of humanity’s most sacred and potent medicinal plants — Marihuana.
For thousands of years, cultures from China, India, Egypt, Greece, and the Islamic Golden Age used cannabis as medicine. In India, it was considered a sacred plant. In the West, cannabis was part of the pharmacopeia until the early 20th century.
Even today, patients worldwide use Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) — a concentrated cannabis extract — for cancer support, chronic illness, and long-term wellness.
A neighborhood where cannabis plants at home is allowed, sold, and consumed with dignity—as a natural herb integrated into daily wellness—is not just a policy adjustment. It is a complete innovation in the context of Dubai, where cannabis has long been banned.
True innovation is a radical transformation. It is the introduction of something that previously had no space, no possibility, no existence in the current panorama. It breaks through what was thought impossible, and in doing so, it creates benefits for all people.
In this article, we dive into the healing power of one of nature’s most potent medicinal plants and uncover the fascinating endocannabinoid system, a vital part of human biology that most people know little about. Believe it or not, smoking small amounts of pure cannabis flowers from time to time may be healthier than not smoking at all.
We going explore on these topics:

🧠 The Forgotten Endocannabinoid System (ECS)
Yes, humans have an endocannabinoid system (ECS), the body produces its own cannabinoid-like substances, similar to the compounds found in marijuana, which regulates:
Pain
Appetite
Mood
Immune response
Neuroprotection
The endocannabinoid system, discovered in the 1990s, it is biological network exists throughout the brain, nervous system, immune cells, skin, bones, digestive system, and even inside mitochondria. Its job is to maintain homeostasis — balance — across mood, pain, sleep, inflammation, and immune function every single day.
Endocannabinoids are compounds your body naturally produces to activate CB1 and CB2 receptors. Key examples:
Anandamide (AEA) – “bliss molecule”
The endocanabinoils present in the resin of the plant are compounds that our body also releases(the cells) during moments of imbalance to restaurate the homeostesis:
You don’t need cannabis to make them; the body does this naturally.
Cells produce them, using enzymes encoded by your DNA.
THC just acts like an external endocannabinoid, amplifying or modulating the ECS.
Endocannabinoids are released “on demand”, not stored like dopamine or serotonin. They are produced whenever the body needs to restore balance—even in early life:
Newborn feeding (anandamide & 2-AG)
Helps newborns suckle and bond with the mother (reward and appetite stimulation).
Breast milk itself contains endocannabinoid-like compounds.
Play and learning in childhood
Anandamide is released during exploration and play, supporting neuroplasticity (building new brain connections).
Stressful moments (exams, social challenges in teens)
Endocannabinoid system (ECS) dampens excessive stress hormones (cortisol) → helps restore emotional balance.
After exercise (“runner’s high”)
Anandamide contributes to the sense of calm and euphoria, especially in teens and young adults.
Injury or illness (any age)
CB2 activation reduces inflammation and pain.
ECS prevents the immune system from overreacting.
During puberty (hormonal shifts)
ECS regulates hormonal release (e.g., gonadotropins, estrogen, testosterone).
Important for reproductive maturation.

Hidden Power of the ECS: Marijuana’s Role in Wellness
When people talk about smoking marijuana, they’re really talking about smoking the dried flowers (often called buds) of the cannabis plant. These flowers are covered in tiny crystal-like structures called trichomes, which contain the plant’s active compounds:
CBD (cannabidiol) – non-intoxicating, with calming and anti-inflammatory properties.
Terpenes – aromatic molecules that shape the scent, taste, and some of the effects.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) – that produces the euphoric “high” and pain relief.
In its raw form, cannabis doesn’t actually contain “ready-to-go” THC. Instead, the flower contains THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid), an inactive form. When heat is applied—through smoking, vaping, or cooking—a chemical reaction called decarboxylation happens:
Fire or heat transforms THCA into THC, the active compound.
Once activated, THC is inhaled through smoke or vapor, passes into the lungs, and quickly enters the bloodstream.
Within seconds, it travels to the brain, where it binds to CB1 receptors of the endocannabinoid system.
This is why smoking cannabis produces such rapid effects—often felt within a minute or two.
Potential benefits include:
Rapid pain relief
Muscle relaxation
Mood elevation and stress reduction (at moderate doses)
Appetite stimulation
Relief from nausea and vomiting
Short-term sleep support
This fast onset makes smoking useful for conditions where quick relief is needed—though it comes with the downside of inhaling combustion byproducts.
THC Oil: Nature’s Best Wellness Tonic
For thousands of years, humans have turned to plants for healing. Among them, few are as controversial—or as promising—as cannabis. From the sticky resin of its flowers, especially those of Cannabis indica, comes a concentrated extract known as THC oil. While often misunderstood, this natural preparation is one of the most powerful tonics available today.
THC oil is made by extracting the active compounds from the flowers of the Cannabis plant. It can be easily prepared at home if you have patience. There are many videos on the internet showing the steps. When properly prepared, THC oil captures not just THC but also other cannabinoids and aromatic terpenes—together forming a potent, full-spectrum extract.
Cannabis extracts are natural and relatively inexpensive to produce. They cannot be patented in the same way as synthetic drugs. For pharmaceutical industries, this means less profit. As a result, there has been little incentive to fund the large, expensive clinical trials that would officially “prove” THC oil’s effectiveness.
Patient Narratives Across the Web
Jim, facing stage-4 kidney cancer:
A testimonial video shows how his cancer symptoms disappeared after using RSO—he was told he had little time to live before the oil gave him new hope.
Rick Simpson estimates he has provided oil to over 1,500 people, stating, “I have seen hundreds of people cured with external and internal cancers.” One 83-year-old patient given 24 hours to live recovered enough to leave the hospital and lived another 14 pain-free months.

Shaping the Future of Preventive Health and Wellness
Dubai is making its intentions crystal clear: to become a leading global wellness destination.
This vision is backed by the Quality of Life Strategy 2033, positioning the city not just as a place that cares, but as one that leads in wellness and holistic living. For achieving this goal as something tangible real marihuana might be introduced. Cannabis is the most potent medicinal plant — banned and demonized because of its healing power.
Cannabis, when used responsibly in small doses, can actually support wellness, balance, and longevity. Sickness is the imbalance in the body, and one of the remarkable properties of THC is its ability to help restore that balance—leading to wide-ranging benefits for health.
Every day, our bodies quietly eliminate countless cells that could otherwise develop into cancer. Illness occurs when the system responsible for this control can no longer maintain order. THC oil, extracted from the cannabis flower, offers powerful support to this natural defense process, helping the body restore balance and sustain wellness over time.
Unfortunately, it is not currently allowed in Dubai, which is why I propose the creation of a dedicated wellness district where cannabis can be consumed responsibly...
A Bold Vision: The Cannabis Wellness Neighborhood
If Dubai truly wants to become a global leader in wellness, it could create a permanent residential neighborhood designed for people who use cannabis responsibly as part of their lifestyle. With residents who value self-care, spirituality, creativity, and health, and who wish to integrate the medicinal and wellness benefits of cannabis into their daily lives.
Unlike typical neighborhoods, this would be a community of conscious residents who understand the value of THC oil and cannabis extracts, along with the beneficial terpenes naturally found in the flowers. Residents would use the plant in moderation, for meditation, focus, inspiration, and overall wellness—not for recreational excess.
Key Features of the Neighborhood:
Residency for Responsible Users: Only residents committed to wellness and mindful cannabis use would live here, creating a mature and conscious community.
Organic Access Only: Cannabis products, including flowers and THC oil, would be pure, chemical-free, and organically grown. Residents could consume them safely within the neighborhood.
Integration with Wellness and Creativity: Spaces for meditation, yoga, music, art, writing, and other creative or spiritual practices would help residents harness the plant’s full potential.
Smoke-Free from Harmful Products: Cigarettes, shishas, and other toxic substances would be forbidden, protecting residents’ health.
Holistic Lifestyle Support: Licensed wellness centers could offer guidance on responsible use, therapeutic programs, and integration with other natural remedies such as microdosing psilocybin for mental health support.

Biohacking: A Vision for Wellness and Longevity in Dubai
As an atiging coach, my focus is on helping people live longer, looking younger, and more beautiful through the most effective wellness tools available, and THC oil is one of them—a strategic tonic to be incorporated occasionally to support overall health and wellbeing.
Its power and benefits for all people should be available to Dubai residents. The vision for this neighborhood is not about a place where people can get high. It is about providing a space for THC oil consumers and other beneficial cannabis-derived products in a safe and responsible way. I invite Dubai authorities to consider this opportunity thoughtfully.
By establishing such a community, Dubai could lead the world in innovative wellness living, showing that a city can respect nature, promote health, and cultivate conscious lifestyles.
I do not recommend smoking cigarettes, or shisha to anyone focused on longevity, youthfulness, and optimal health. For those seeking spiritual growth and inner radiance, smoking marijuana flowers can support mindfulness and emotional resilience.
I advocate for THC oil—especially for individuals over 40—as a tool for cancer prevention!
I am actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with wellness and fitness centers in Dubai, bringing my expertise to communities dedicated to biohacking, beauty, and longevity.
Together, we can create ceremonies, workshops, masterminds, branded products, and cutting-edge wellness insights to help members achieve their highest potential. If your center is committed to health, beauty, and conscious living, I would be delighted to explore how we can create transformative wellness experiences together. Connect with me on LinkedIn.
