Why Counting Calories Is a Waste of Time for Losing Weight

When it comes to losing weight, calories are not the most important factor. Overweight is primarily a result of hormonal imbalance. Consuming products with zero calories cause overweight if they contain ingredients that disrupt your hormones —
Someone very obese with a thick neck didn’t get there simply by eating too many calories and skipping the gym, that is result of thyroid hormone imbalance. People gain weight only because the products they consume are imbalancing their hormones as I described here.
You could be eating very few calories and still gain weight if your hormones are imbalanced:
Hidden sugars and additives — ingredients such as maltodextrin, dextrose, artificial sweeteners, and sugar alcohols (like sorbitol) found in “zero-calorie” drinks, protein powders, and diet foods. Spike insulin, shut down fat burning, and promote fat storage.
Chronic stress — persistent stress raises cortisol, which releases sugar into the bloodstream, increases appetite, and leads to fat storage, especially around the belly. This happens even if you are undereating.
Estrogen imbalance in women — excess estrogen promotes fat storage in the hips, thighs, and buttocks, and is linked to cellulite. Estrogen dominance can be triggered by:
Certain medications (birth control pills, hormone replacement therapies, antidepressants).
Foods and drinks that spike insulin, since insulin stimulates estrogen production.
Cosmetic or household products that contain endocrine disruptors like parabens and phthalates.
Medications that cause weight gain — antidepressants (SSRIs, tricyclics), antipsychotics, corticosteroids, beta-blockers, and even insulin therapy can shift hormones toward fat storage.
Obesogens — environmental toxins that act like hormones in the body, found in:
Canned foods and plastics (BPA, phthalates).
Pesticide residues on non-organic produce.
Non-stick cookware (PFAS chemicals).These chemicals mimic estrogen and disrupt metabolism, leading to fat gain even without excess calories.
There are 4 types of bodies that perfectly describe which hormone is imbalanced causing a person gaining weight. When consuming clean foods, beverages and supplementation, no matter how much you eat you will not gain weight. But only when you allow the body to clean up the internal fat which is literally trash accumulated, and about all this is the next text...

Why is sleeping properly the most important factor when losing weight?
One of the reasons I stopped my Certified Nutrition courses is because it was full of popular myths that do not support people’s health and beauty goals. They were focused on calories, while you can eat all calories you want without gaining weight if what you eat is not full of toxins that imbalance your hormones, express the wrong genes, and deplete nutrients.
If you avoid toxic ingredients like seed oils, canned foods, and ultra-processed foods, you can eat all the calories you want. These toxic foods do not just make you overweight — they literally modify your body template. They are deforming the body, making it ugly. But even if you eat healthy foods, you can still gain some weight if you do not know these secrets...
The body does not burn stored fat until glycogen reserves are depleted.
As long as insulin is present in bloodstream, fat burning does not occur.
After you eat(or drink something sweet) the pancreas releases insulin into the bloodstream for nutrient absorbtion. The sugars from the food are stored as glycogen in your liver and muscles. If you don’t eat anything afterward, like when you sleep, your body gradually uses up these glycogen reserves for essential functions, like breathing and maintaining organs.
Once these reserves are gone, your body starts using stored fat as an energy source.
Finally, this fat you want to eliminate starts to dissipate because your body uses it as an energy source for performing hundreds of automatic functions like repairing cells, forming muscle, and even renewing skin. This is why sleeping is very important, even more than hitting the gym. It is the time when most fat is eliminated.
Insulin is a hormone, and releasing insulin frequently by eating too often — even healthy foods — reduces the body’s ability to burn fat. This is why hormonal imbalances are a major cause of overweight. Other key hormones include thyroid hormones, estrogen and cortisol.
Excess cortisol, released during stress or overtraining, can trigger the breakdown of muscle protein into glucose for energy. This glucose can then be converted into stored fat if not used immediately. That’s why chronic stress or excessive exercise without proper recovery can hinder fat loss and promote fat storage, instead of helping you lose weight.

The Ultimate Secret to Permanent Weight Loss
Activating the cleaning processes of the body is the only way to keep a wonderful body. Most foods, beverages and supplements contain ingredients that make you fat like maltodextrin. Which is the number one ingredient you need to avoid if you are overweigth but also if you would like to live longer, and looking younger. This is an unecesary ingredient in products.
No food and beverage needs maltodextrin. There is not reason to be in any product at least someone wants to keep people ill or cognitive decline. I observe that most foods that contain it, are manufacturered by companies which main shareholders are the same shareholders of pharmaceuticals. People is posioned with maltodextrin, which cuases premature aging.
Choosing food with awareness instead of just eating whatever to stop hunger, keeps the best body template. Many people are horrible because of what they are introduing in their bodies, and they believe that is how their bodies are evolving. Those products are destroying future generations. Today many children are obese or with sight problems as result.
The ultra secret to “permanent nice body” is avoid consuming the trash that imbalance hormones and practice fasting as much as you can. No eatign is much more healthy than eating trash foods. Internal viseral fat is body trash that many people do not allow the body to remove out. During fasting is eliminated, when cleaning processes of the body are active.
Most people consider quantity more important than quality regarding food for health.

As an expert, I do not recommend planning fastings; just keep yourself without food as long as you feel okay without eating. A coffee in the morning is the healthiest breakfast someone can have after a night of good sleep, when a nutritious diet is followed. Prolonging the fast from sleep is the best way to maintain the body you want, combined with hitting the gym often, which I recommend to everyone. And I do not advise sacrifice—eat when you need it.
