Infrared Light Therapy. A Natural Remedy for Back Pain, Arthritis, Wound Healing & Tissue Repair

Infrared light therapy is an excellent remedy to relieve back pain, arthritis, wound healing and inflammation. This therapy that you can apply at home with an infrared lamp also improves mitochondrial function, sleeping, hair growth, acne, diabetes, hypertension, tissue repair and rejuvenates the skin. But Infrared light therapy is not a quick solution to get rid of pain because it heals the area, what eliminates the pain, while quick remedies block the pain.


To cure arthritis, a daily dose of more than 10,000 IU of vitamin D with K2 might help as well and Curcumin in extract. Both have amazing anti-aging benefits as well as exposing your skin 10 to 20 minutes to infrared light panels like these ones. To relieve pain with an infrared light panel you only need to expose the affected area to the light coming from a lamp that emits with enough potency therapeutic wavelengths, which are red 630nm and Near Infrared, 850nm. Sufficient power is important because the light must reach your muscle and bone cells. A 1000 Watts lamp or higher is the best and can be used for only 15 minutes twice a day on dry, bare skin. Exceeding the time is not more beneficial.


Both wavelengths are emitted by the lamps available in our store. Infrared light (850 nm) penetrates deep into the skin and reaches the cell's mitochondria. Where beneficial light particles are absorbed and ATP energy is produced, providing cells with much more vitality for rejuvenation and repair. What is very beneficial to relieve pain, heal, rejuvenate and reduce inflammation. Even small improvements are felt from the first sessions.

But they need to be used longer because the LEDs have less potency, around 20 minutes per session while a 1500 Watts Panel only requires 10 minutes per session and reaches more areas.

Red Light therapy improves joints and lower back pain


Red and near-infrared light have been used for the treatment of arthritis since the late 1980s, this therapy is not as recent as it seems. There are hundreds of clinical studies that determine its effectiveness, enough scientific data has been compiled to recommend it to everyone with arthritis, regardless of the cause and severity. On this small study elderly with degenerative osteoarthritis of both knees experienced a 50% improvement of pain and disability after only ten days of receiving infrared light therapy twice a day for 15 minutes.


Infrared light therapy increases the production of collagen in the body, which is highly beneficial for joint health and skin appearance. One of the supplements that people with arthritis should take to get better is type 2 collagen which is the major component of joint cartilage and by exposing the knees and whole body to an infrared lamp like this one it is possible to reduce any type of pain, increase collagen production in joints and heal arthritis.


What are the best natural remedies for arthritis ?


If you suffer from any type of arthritis for sure you should consume MSM, Boswellia and Boron. In areas of the world where boron intakes usually are 1.0 mg or less/day the estimated incidence of arthritis ranges from 20 to 70%, whereas in areas where boron intakes are usually 3 to 10 mg, the estimated incidence of arthritis ranges from 0 to 10% Boron is an essential nutrient for healthy bones and joints, and 6 mg daily is recommended.


It is one of the trace elements that best helps menopausal women balance hormones after the adrenal glands begin to take a greater load when the ovaries stop working. But also for men after 40 it is quite beneficial to consume a Boron supplement to increase testosterone. Another supplement to relieve chronic pain and any type of inflammation, including arthritis, is MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) which is pretty safe in a dose of 3 grams per day.


MSM supplementation helps reduce stiffness in joints and arteries. It also protects cartilage from degradation according to this review. Boswellia is a natural painkiller that reduces inflammation and prevent the loss of cartilage. It is very safe, however always test your body when taking a new supplement and do not mix it with chemical medication.
